At this point, you can basically associate vegan with Berlin. This is one of my favorite cities in the world, from the first time I visited as a student in Barcelona. Yet another reason to love Berlin? All the delicious vegan options!
Here are all the spots you should check out for vegan food in BerLIT!
I’ll be updating this list with restaurants as I visit more on future trips to the city:
Yoyo Foodworld
Yoyo Foodworld is a fast food-style restaurant in Berlin that’s 100% vegan. It’s cash only, so don’t forget to bring some. I love their bacon cheeseburger, which I had my very first time there.
On my most recent visit, I had their vegan schnitzel. That was insanely good! To me, one of the best parts of travel is trying vegan food all over the world. It’s even better when the dishes are local fares made vegan!
Yoyo Foodworld boasts great prices and delicious food. I’ll definitely be back!

Zwipf Coffee
I’m sure you can get a great coffee just about anywhere in Berlin, but I really enjoyed my drink from Zwipf. My go-to when I’m outside the States is a mocha with oat milk. I could just melt inside from the coziness of that drink!
The staff at Zwipf was super friendly, and their mocha superb. Be sure to bring cash!

SOY
I tried SOY on my first visit to Berlin, and was impressed. Their dishes are Vietnamese and burst with flavor.
Aside from how good it tastes, the food at SOY is full of healthy, real, plant ingredients. You can taste the freshness in every bite.
When I travel, I try my best to stay active and treat my body well with foods that are good for it. SOY is a restaurant where I can get the healthy products and good taste!
1990 Vegan Living
I tried this place for the first time on my last trip to Berlin, and was impressed! The interior is decorated so beautifully, and there was a wait when my friend and I arrived. That’s a good sign.
We were seated pretty quickly despite the chaos of dinner rush. The staff here is very friendly, and you order through writing your desired dishes on a paper menu.
I got a bowl with tons of veggies, tofu, and a creamy coconut curry. I don’t know how I feel about coconut curry, but I did enjoy the freshness of the dish!

Veganz
This grocery store is too cool! They have the largest selection of all-vegan products I’ve ever seen. This is the perfect place to go if you’re vegan and want to cook for yourself while in Berlin.
Sure, they have expensive foods. But, they also have options that aren’t as expensive and will provide for a unique dining experience.
So, to all of you staying in Airbnbs or hostels that have kitchens, check this place out! I would definitely buy myself some ingredients to make a delicious meal here.
. . .
These are the restaurants and stores I’ve been to so far as a vegan in Berlin. As I visit more and try more places, I’ll add to this list!
Berlin is one of the most vegan-friendly cities in the world. You’d be hard-pressed not to find a delicious vegan dish in a place like Berlin!
Which of these dishes do you want to try?
As always, happy traveling, and happy eating!
