As a travel-loving millennial, it doesn’t take much to convince me to see the world. But, I saw one of the travel quotes by Maya Angelou the other day on Instagram and it’s stayed at the forefront of my mind ever since.
After studying abroad twice in college, I did everything I could to make a location independent income so I could spend my life chasing my passions: travel, new experiences, strangers-turned-friends, and memories so potent they cannot truly be felt in a photo.
Since Ms. Angelou’s words affected me so much, I wanted to share 25 beautiful, inspirational travel quotes with you. I know we can’t exactly pick up our lives and jet around the world right now, but at least we can remember what made it so wonderful that we could in the first place.
Besides, we need something to hold us over until there’s a safe and effective vaccine! Read away, friends. I hope these make your heart beat faster and get you in a positive state of mind. I know they made me feel the same way. 💓

Once I read Maya Angelou’s quote, which is #10 on this list, I knew I had to search for other travel quotes that would also inspire me despite how badly the travel industry is doing right now. We have a long road of recovery ahead of us, but I also am glad for tourist sites that got the breather they very well needed.
I think these travel quotes also made me feel even more connected to my adventures because of how much I’ve healed from past traumas thanks to them. With every destination, I get closer to the person I was always meant to be. I wish the same for you. ✨
